One of the many advantages to being a student is having access to the university’s resources. However, we’re not always aware of what’s happening on our own campus. In case you’ve missed the emails, here’s two recent developments you should know about:
1. U of M libraries recently posted a schedule for Workshops and Lectures at Dafoe. The next event is on February 28, 2014 and is designed to introduce you to the citation management tool Zotero.
2. If you’re interested in professional development and would like to work on transferrable skills, the Faculty of Graduate Studies is offering Mitacs Step Workshops in March. The first one on March 17, 2014 looks at time management.
Remember, you can always find the link to FGS workshops on this blog under “Student Resources”. And if you know about any other useful resources out there, let us know – we’d love to hear from you!
